Hadyn has 2 landrovers, a 110 called Thud that's currently off the road, having some work done to it, to get it ready for it's MOT. Hopefully should be done and dusted and ready for the YORC challenge event at Weardale on the first weekend of September 08. Thud's been off the road for a year or so, mostly because I got too busy with work and the like to do anything with it. Hopefully now after lots of work, swearing, blood, sweat and tears, he'll be back on the road soon. It's amazing when you start a process to get an old landrover back on the road, how much work there is to do. From what I thought would be a relatively quick and easy job, has turned into an expensive nightmare that hopefully is nearly over.
The other is a 1980 Range Rover called Vera. She's in the process of being built up into a challenge machine. She's been turned into a pickup, and you can see the progress (Or not!!) so far by looking at the Vera pages when they get made live. Again Vera has been suffering total neglect, initially because of work and the like, but more recently because I've been working on getting Thud back on the road. Who knows what lies ahead for Vera, I'm not even sure myself what to do. Write it off as a bad idea, try and finish her or what?
So yeah, that's me - 2 landrovers and neither of them road legal or working at the moment!! Bloody typical eh??
